Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the terms applicable when a customer cancels an order, project, product, or service booked with Prime Enterprises.

Many of our products and services are customised according to project requirements. Materials may be purchased, fabrication may begin, or work may be scheduled soon after order confirmation. For this reason, cancellation and refund eligibility depends on the stage of the order and the costs already incurred.

1. Order Cancellation

Customers who wish to cancel an order should contact Prime Enterprises as soon as possible.

Cancellation requests should preferably be submitted in writing through an official communication channel such as:

  • Email
  • WhatsApp
  • Written communication

The cancellation request should include relevant order details, such as:

  • Customer name
  • Contact number
  • Quotation or invoice number
  • Project or product details
  • Reason for cancellation

A cancellation request is not considered automatically approved until it has been reviewed by Prime Enterprises.

2. Cancellation Before Work Begins

If an order is cancelled before material procurement, fabrication, manufacturing, or project work has started, Prime Enterprises will review the cancellation request.

Any refund, if applicable, may be processed after deducting reasonable costs already incurred.

These costs may include:

  • Site visits
  • Measurements
  • Design work
  • Drawings
  • Administrative expenses
  • Other project preparation costs

The final refundable amount will depend on the specific order.

3. Cancellation After Material Procurement

Once materials have been purchased or ordered specifically for a customer’s project, cancellation may be subject to deductions.

The refundable amount, if any, may depend on:

  • Cost of purchased materials
  • Supplier cancellation charges
  • Material return eligibility
  • Transportation costs
  • Storage costs
  • Handling expenses

Materials specifically ordered or customised for a project may not be returnable to suppliers.

4. Cancellation After Fabrication or Manufacturing

Many products supplied by Prime Enterprises are fabricated or manufactured according to customer specifications.

These may include:

  • Aluminium Windows & Doors
  • Aluminium Partitions
  • Toughened Glass
  • UPVC Windows & Doors
  • MS Fabrication
  • SS Railing
  • Industrial Shed Components
  • PUF Panel Cabins
  • Portable Cabins
  • Custom Furniture

Once fabrication or manufacturing has started, cancellation may not be possible, or only a partial refund may be available.

The customer may be responsible for costs relating to materials, labour, fabrication, and other work already completed.

5. Cancellation of Customised Products

Customised products are prepared according to specific customer requirements.

Customisation may include:

  • Size
  • Dimensions
  • Design
  • Material
  • Thickness
  • Colour
  • Finish
  • Glass specifications
  • Hardware
  • Project requirements

Because customised products may not be suitable for resale, they may not be eligible for cancellation or a full refund after production has started.

6. Cancellation of Services

For installation, fabrication, interior, civil, or other service work, cancellation may depend on the stage of the project.

If work has already started, the customer may be required to pay for:

  • Work completed
  • Materials used
  • Labour costs
  • Site mobilisation
  • Equipment expenses
  • Transportation
  • Other costs already incurred

7. Advance Payments

Advance payments are generally collected for purposes such as:

  • Material procurement
  • Fabrication preparation
  • Manufacturing
  • Project planning
  • Labour arrangements
  • Site mobilisation

An advance payment is not automatically refundable.

Refund eligibility will depend on whether Prime Enterprises has already incurred costs or started work related to the order.

8. Non-Refundable Costs

Depending on the project, certain costs may be non-refundable once incurred.

These may include:

  • Materials already purchased
  • Custom-made materials
  • Fabrication costs
  • Manufacturing costs
  • Labour charges for completed work
  • Transportation expenses
  • Site mobilisation costs
  • Design and drawing charges
  • Supplier cancellation charges

Any amount already paid to third-party suppliers may also affect the refund amount.

9. Refund Eligibility

Refunds are considered based on the actual circumstances of the order.

A refund may be considered when:

  • The order is cancelled before significant work begins.
  • Materials have not been purchased.
  • Fabrication has not started.
  • No substantial project costs have been incurred.

Each cancellation request will be reviewed according to the approved quotation, order status, and costs already incurred.

10. Refund Calculation

Where a refund is approved, the refundable amount may be calculated after deducting applicable costs.

These may include:

  • Materials purchased
  • Work completed
  • Labour costs
  • Fabrication costs
  • Manufacturing costs
  • Transportation charges
  • Supplier charges
  • Administrative or project preparation costs

The final refund amount will depend on the actual project status at the time of cancellation.

11. Refund Processing

If a refund is approved, Prime Enterprises will process it through an appropriate payment method.

The processing time may depend on:

  • Verification of the payment
  • Project cost calculations
  • Supplier settlements
  • Return of materials, where applicable
  • Banking or payment processing requirements

Customers may be asked to provide payment details where required for processing an approved refund.

12. Incorrect or Duplicate Payments

If a customer makes an incorrect or duplicate payment, the matter should be reported to Prime Enterprises as soon as possible.

The customer should provide:

  • Payment date
  • Payment amount
  • Transaction reference
  • Proof of payment

After verification, an eligible refund or adjustment may be processed.

13. Cancellation Due to Customer Changes

If a customer cancels an order because of:

  • Change in requirements
  • Change in design
  • Budget changes
  • Project delays
  • Change in site location
  • Change in project plans

The cancellation will still be subject to the costs already incurred by Prime Enterprises.

14. Changes Instead of Cancellation

In some cases, an order may be modified instead of cancelled.

For example, customers may request changes to:

  • Dimensions
  • Materials
  • Design
  • Quantity
  • Delivery location

Prime Enterprises will review whether the requested changes are technically and commercially possible.

Additional charges or a revised delivery schedule may apply.

15. Damaged or Incorrect Products

If a customer believes that a product delivered by Prime Enterprises is damaged, incorrect, or does not match the approved specifications, the issue should be reported promptly.

Please provide:

  • Order or invoice details
  • Description of the issue
  • Photographs or videos
  • Details of the affected product

Prime Enterprises may inspect the issue before deciding on the appropriate solution.

Depending on the circumstances, the solution may include:

  • Repair
  • Replacement
  • Correction of the work
  • Another appropriate resolution

A refund is not automatic and will depend on the nature of the issue and the applicable project terms.

16. Inspection Before Refund or Replacement

Prime Enterprises may require an inspection before approving:

  • A refund
  • A replacement
  • A repair
  • Correction of work

The inspection helps determine whether the issue resulted from:

  • Material defects
  • Workmanship
  • Transportation
  • Incorrect specifications
  • Site conditions
  • Improper use
  • Damage caused after handover

17. Products Damaged After Delivery

Prime Enterprises may not be responsible for products damaged after delivery due to:

  • Improper handling
  • Accidental damage
  • Incorrect storage
  • Third-party work
  • Unauthorised modifications
  • Improper installation by another party

Such cases may not be eligible for a refund.

18. Cancellation by Prime Enterprises

In certain circumstances, Prime Enterprises may need to cancel or suspend an order.

This may occur because of:

  • Material unavailability
  • Technical limitations
  • Unsafe site conditions
  • Incorrect project information
  • Non-payment
  • Circumstances outside reasonable control

Where appropriate, Prime Enterprises will discuss the situation with the customer and determine the next steps based on the project status and applicable costs.

19. Disputed Payments

If there is a question regarding a payment, invoice, or refund amount, customers should contact Prime Enterprises directly with the relevant documents.

Please provide:

  • Quotation or invoice number
  • Payment details
  • Project details
  • Description of the concern

We will review the available information and respond based on the agreed project terms.

20. No Automatic Refund

Payment of an advance or project amount does not guarantee a refund if an order is cancelled.

Refunds depend on:

  • Order status
  • Work completed
  • Materials purchased
  • Costs incurred
  • Customisation requirements

The specific terms agreed for the project may also affect refund eligibility.

21. Changes to This Policy

Prime Enterprises may update this Cancellation & Refund Policy when required.

For confirmed orders, the terms agreed at the time of order confirmation will generally apply to that project.
